Requirements: Must have extensive knowledge of medical imaging terminology. Excellent patient care/customer service skills. Required to multi task, answering phones, signing in patient visits, fielding questions from patients and provider offices. Calling critical results to providers. Data order entry in hospital EMR.
Quality Standards: Busy Radiology department where multi-tasking ability is a must. Medical terminology as it relates to Medical Imaging required. Computer skills and knowledge of Hospital EMR for data entry. Attention to detail Professional interactions between medical staff and colleagues.
Physical Demands: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and also spend a significant amount of time on the phone fielding calls from providers, hospital staff and patients.
