Auburn Community Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Sujit Shrestha to its team at Children’s Health Specialists.
Dr. Shrestha completed Pediatric residency training at Richmond University Medical Center in New York. During his residency, he served as a third-year Chief Resident in the program, demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and leadership. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Shrestha is experienced in preventive medicine, newborn care, disease identification and management, patient advocacy, and improving social drivers of health. Prior to completing his residency in the United States, he worked as a pediatrician at Nepal Medical College in Kathmandu, Nepal. He is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive, and evidence-based care while building lasting relationships with children and their families. He values continuity of care and believes that longitudinal relationships with families are essential to promoting healthy growth and development throughout childhood.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Shrestha enjoys hiking, painting, cooking, and writing poetry. He values spending time in nature and exploring creative pursuits, which provide a balance to his professional life.
