Biography
Dr. Shrestha completed his Pediatric residency training at Richmond University Medical Center in New York. During his residency, he served as a third-year Chief Resident in the program, demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and leadership. He joins Children's Health Specialists as a full-time Pediatrician.
With years of experience caring for children and newborns, Dr. Shrestha brings a broad range of clinical experience to his practice. Prior to completing his residency in the United States, he worked as a pediatrician at Nepal Medical College in Kathmandu, Nepal. He is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive, and evidence-based care while building lasting relationships with children and their families. He values continuity of care and believes that longitudinal relationships with families are essential to promoting healthy growth and development throughout childhood.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Shrestha enjoys hiking, painting, cooking, and writing poetry. He values spending time in nature and exploring creative pursuits, which provide a balance to his professional life.
