Biography

Dr. Philip Chebaya completed both his undergraduate studies in Exercise Science and a Master of Science degree at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship at SUNY Upstate Medical University, serving in chief leadership roles during both his residency and fellowship.

Dr. Chebaya went on to pursue advanced subspecialty training in Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and Sports Cardiology at Morristown Medical Center under the mentorship of Dr. Matthew Martinez, a nationally recognized specialist in sports cardiology and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

Dr. Chebaya practices non-invasive cardiology with particular interests in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, cardiomyopathies, and sports cardiology. He looks forward to serving the Auburn community and providing patients with compassionate, specialized cardiovascular care.
