Biography
Dr. Akhtar received her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada and completed her residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University, in Internal Medicine. She completed a Fellowship at SUNY Upstate Hematology and Medical Oncology in 2021. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University.
