Alicia Johnson, FNP
Biography
Alicia is a native of the Fingerlakes, who has served the region of Upstate New York for over 10 years with her career in nursing. She is a graduate of Cayuga Community College's Nursing program. After gaining experience in the fields of orthopedic surgery, cardiology, and neurology Alicia chose to further her education through Upstate Medical University's Family Nurse Practitioner program. Providing patient centered care is one of Alicia's core practice beliefs. She is passionate about fostering a positive patient-provider relationship. Her goal is to help patient's achieve optimal health through education, and active participation. Outside of work, Alicia enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, especially enjoying summers on Owasco Lake. Alicia is currently accepting new patients at AMMS Neurology with a focus on chronic migraine and headache management. Alicia is a Daisy award nominee, member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society as well as a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
