Auburn Community Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Jonathan Huang, DO, AGAF, FAASLD, to serve as Chief of its Auburn Gastroenterology office.
Dr. Huang joins ACH from the University of Rochester Medical Center, where he is a practicing Hepatologist / Gastroenterologist, Associate Professor of Medicine and serves as the Director of the Digestive and Liver Disease Center for Research. A native of Rochester, NY, he received his medical degree from Midwestern University in Illinois and completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. Dr. Huang completed his fellowships in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology at Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Huang shared his enthusiasm for joining Auburn Community Hospital, stating, “I am honored to join the outstanding gastroenterology team in Auburn. I look forward to bringing specialized liver care to the area and increasing access to services previously unavailable in Cayuga County and the greater Central New York region. In addition, we will focus on collaborating with the regional community to streamline patient care through expanded GI services including direct access colonoscopies.”
