Auburn Community Hospital (ACH) is searching for skilled nurses to join our OB Unit. OB RNs are part of caring for new mothers and babies. RNs in the OB are responsible to the charge nurse or designated representative for performing assigned duties and responsibilities. The RN plans and provides nursing care that will be consistent with departmental policies and procedures and with current professional standards and practices. RNs maintain accurate nursing care plans, reports, and clinical records. Also, provides patient and family teaching when appropriate.
Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current NYS nursing license. Previous acute care experience is desirable. Candidates must possess current BLS certification. Must obtain NALS & ACLS certifications within six (6) months. On call and scrub duties are required.
