The Inventory Analyst is responsible for daily requisitions, stocking supply areas on all units, performing cycle counts for inventory accuracy, identifying and correcting errors in inventory for Materials Management, Central Stores, and department floors. This individual is responsible for implementing and monitoring procedures to ensure that the proper inventory is in all locations where inventory for clinical stock is stored. The IA will assist management in the development and implantation of a formal program to audit all areas related to inventory movement for integrity and accuracy. IA will lead regular audits and counts in a program to identify and eliminate and problems found in materials including outdates. This individual will manage monthly analysis to show accuracy improvements.
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, NYS driver license, and 2-3 years of inventory experience. Proven problem-solving abilities with excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Candidate should be an expert in Excel and demonstrate the ability to construct analyses that include charts, graphs, and familiarity with pivot tables and formulas. Excel evaluation required.
