Auburn Community Hospital (ACH) is searching for driven members of the community who have the right skills to be a Clerk/Tech in our Emergency Department. Clerk/Techs are responsible for performing as both a unit secretary and patient care assistant. These dual roles give them responsibility for clerical and patient care duties within the Emergency Care Unit. For any assigned shift, a Clerk/Tech I may carry out the responsibilities of one or more of these job responsibilities.

We require candidates to possess a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrated computer/typing skills. Recent ER experience (within the past six (6) months) as a Clerk/Tech is required.  If hired, candidates must successfully complete BLS certification upon the conclusion of their ECU orientation.
