Kay Jewelers brought smiles to many children’s faces, near and far this Christmas season, with a donation of more than 100 stuffed animals from the Auburn, NY and Clay, NY locations. The proceeds from the sale of the stuffed teddy bears and dogs benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, but some customers also graciously donated the stuffed animals to local hospitals, including Auburn Community Hospital (ACH). This partnership between Geoff Perkins from the Kay Jewelers Clay location, Mike Fronzek from the Auburn location and Barb Perkins, Director of Quality Management at ACH, was inspired by Geoff’s vision to give back locally to the hospital (ACH) where his mother and clinical staff have provided compassionate care to all of the patients for decades.
