Job Description

Perform duties relating to the support function of the medical staff office for providers; including but not limited to, obtaining verifications of applicants credentials, typing, data base management, filing, phone coverage, maintain administrative calendar, minute taking and transcribing, and developing and tracking meeting notices. Maintain records, ledgers, files, manuals, reports, and other forms as required. Send notices of information needed to physicians as required. Prepare, coordinate and process incoming and outgoing documents and information needed by physicians for credentialing. Ensure Medical by laws & rules/regulations, insurance requirements and government regulations and safety standards are followed/met.
Associates degree in Business or five (5) years of related experience preferred or LPN license preferred. Must possess excellent communications skills. Must have familiarity with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) or equivalent. Type 80 wpm preferred. Experience in a health care setting required.
Qualifications and Skills
