Finger Lakes Center for Living Will Exhibit Handiwork Donated by Staff Member

An exhibit of framed tatting handiwork will be unveiled at the Finger Lakes Center for Living (FLCL), a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center affiliated with Auburn Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, January 16 at 10:30 a.m.

Ginny Weathers, a longtime recreation staff member at FLCL, who has won several awards at the NY State Fair with her tatting, has donated several pieces which have been framed as a gift from the AMH Auxiliary. The exhibit will also feature the unveiling of a framed photograph of Owasco Lake by John Francis McCarthy, in memory of the late Floyd Durfee. Mr. Durfee was a dedicated volunteer who in recently years transported many of the FLCL residents to and from occupational therapy.
